Gas powered 10 impact hammer rock crusher with evolutionary patent pending exhaust port that virtually never clogs, and the screen will outlast 5 times or more that of compeditors. Also, this design allows much better flow through the crusher continously, for production that rivals much larger units. What could possibly be better than lighter, smaller, faster, more durable, and half the cost of others available? Entire unit weighs just 48 lbs, 1.5 inlet/outlet port, hardened carbon steel screen, 70 ksi hard surfaced hammer chains that have a much extended and hardened wear surface at the ends where all the work is done lasting 10x what regular chain would, discharge into 5 gallon bucket dust free, works best if water added periodically with rock at feed port for no dust, and fine grind. Durable enough for small production until your mine proves up for commercial setup, yet light and transportable enough to find your new vein.

With a pan, classifier, and a rock hammer, you can find your future gold mine. A stream, or more likely a tributary with gold is just an indicator of a vein it passed through. Every prospector needs one of these mills to really have a chance at finding a vein. 70% passing -20 screen first pass, which is perfect for sampling and small production. (20 screen is finer than a kitchen strainer).

Finer screens available for crusher for a finer crush. But remember, turning your rock into talcum powder will also turn the gold finer than that, and may not be caught in your pan or sluice, as "flour gold" gets caught in the surface tension of water and floats away. Also gold forms in fissures in rock after it initially formed, which is naturally the fracture point when crushed. This means the larger particles passing through the crusher usually don't have gold in them since they are the hardest part of the stone. As each mineral bed has it's own character, it could be determined whether any gold were being lost by classifying with a 20 screen, panning or sluicing the -20 and clean out, then running the +20 through the mill again and panning or sluicing. This second run has proven to have negligible amounts of gold in our testing, but every site is different. Fine tuning for largest gold particle with least loss can be accomplished with this unit. Engine and legs not included, but legs are just 1/2 electrical conduit available at local hardware store that fit into included stand mounts, and 3 h. It is an old Honda design copied by the chinese. Just 4 bolts to connect PTO housing, and attach the included Lovejoy coupler to the shaft to complete the unit. Holes in the PTO housing are cut for this particular engine and shaft length, so it is advisable not to use other.

Stand mounts for this engine also included. Unit may vary slightly from that shown.
